Designed by the famous New Orleans architect, Gallier, this building at one time, housed the Mayor's Office, City Hall, and several other important city offices. Now, it is used primarily as a party place for Mardi Gras, where the Mayor and others gather for the festivities and make announcements and perform toasts with the mardi gras krewes.
