Formerly known as St. Timothy's-Hale, St. David's is an Episcopal K-12 private school. The lower school was added in the Fall of 2003. The name was changed due to a disagreement with the formerly associated St. Timothy's lower school with regards to religious agenda. 2006 marked the end of the reign of headmaster John Murray. • So what was the nature of the disagreement? I was schooled by Father Hale -- anyone remember him?
  • Correction: The name was not changed due to a disagreement with St. Timothy's School. It was changed to St. David's School when the school added a K-4th grade Lower School and became a complete K-12 school. At that time the school felt that it was necessary to establish a new name.
  • I went to Hale High School and remember Father Hale. I also remember walking, uphill, to North Hills mall after school each day to wait for my mom to pick me up after she got off work.
