Oldest Indian exercise gymnasium in town. Now it is converted into latest kind of gymnasium. I remember when we use to play on this ground like kho-kho, kabbadi, langadi, football and favourite game like ABADUBI etc. Now a days more attention is given towards western games like basketball etc. Slowly loosing Indian culture sorry to say but it is true. I was student of this Hanuman Vyamshala since the age of 5 years till 18 later due to my profession I could not continue. That time we had good old friends like Gawand brothers, Gadakari's, Potnis, Bhatawadekar's, the excellent of the one is Late Gokul Hegde my good friend - very soft spoken and charming. Sorry, I don't remember many girls names, but there were some good quality girls and boys were there. Slowly this HVS turned into "PREMSHALA" - very sorry. Many boys and girls among the group got married. And slowly the standard also gone down.
*** The Entrance Gate facing the lake also used to serve as a 'Rehearsal Place' for a local Brass band group. As a kid, we were more interested in their practice than peeping at men working out in gymnasium or in a wrestling arena. But it was a ideal place for children to play physical games here. Entry for children is becoming scarce here with dwindling open spaces.***
