This grocery store was built concurrently with the Mass Pike beneath it (by purchasing the air-rights in a court case that began when they planned to build the highway through a Star Market parking lot). Referred to as "the supermarket overpass" on radio traffic reports. It was originally built in 1963 but later converted to a Shaw's around 1999 or 2000 due to a merger between the two chains. By 2015, it had reverted back to its original name.
