The vayalil poduvals have been residing here for generations. they are connected to the peruvaram temple and the linage is from icchukutty poduvalsaiar,laksmikutty poduvalasiar govinda poduval etc.. the tharavaadu has been partitioned to the six children of laksmikutty poduval ambujam,anandam,bhargavi,goplakrishnan,vishwanathan and kamalam.the houses manasa,shantivilla,omkaram,chitira belongs to these descendants.madhavi poduval younger sister of lakmikutty had two children saraswati and krishnan.Manimahal belongs to the descendants of madhavi poduval.the fifth and sixth generations of the above linage are now scattered all over the world.some in kuwait, muscat,USA,London,chennai,Pune,nagpur,Delhi, etc etc....
