Targoviste

Vlad Tepes, the romanian prince that was the origin of Dracula legend, had his capital here. In the matter of fact, Targoviste was the capital of Vallachia (one of the political and geographical regions of actual Romania) from 1396 to 1714. Important architectural parts of the pricely court are still laying in the center of the town. One of them, the most intact one, is "Turnul Chindiei" that somehow means "The Tower of the Evening"
