St. Josephs Cemetery (Cork (Corcaigh))

Formerly the Cork Botanic Gardens this cemetery was opened in the mid 19th century by Fr. Theobald Mathew (Welsh born advocate of total abstinence from alcohol). Fr. Mathew is himself buried here along with many well known Corkonians. The cemetery is largely full now with burials only in existing plots.
