In 1984, Woodridge School of Soldiers Hills II, Talon, Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, Philippines was founded to provide an Education for Transformation which will lead the children and the youth to experience their dignity as human persons, enabling them to play their role as Christians, leading a life dedicated to the service of God, country, and fellowmen.
In 1985, it opened another Preschool branch in Molino, Bacoor, Cavite in response to the demand of its residents.
In 1990, the steady and high annual enrollment growth pattern encouraged the administration to offer secondary education.
In 1992, when the school facilities could no longer meet the growing demands of the ever-increasing student population, the school acquired its present location of an almost three-hectare lot at Soldiers Hills IV, Molino, Bacoor, Cavite. The steady increase in its population is a tribute to its growing fame as an institution committed to provide a quest for excellence as well as the constant striving to keep abreast with the changing needs. From 1992 to the present, the school under the DepEd, Division of Cavite enjoys full government recognition to operate Preschool, Grade School and High School courses.
In 2001, the future holds brightest for Woodridge School as it answers the challenges poised by the growing need of expansion in the pursuit of its honest desire to develop the pupils/students all around skills and of providing top quality education. It opened a branch in Cebu City, the School of the New Millennium – Woodridge School-Cebu located at Banilad Road, Cebu City, Philippines. In the same year, Woodridge School embarked in another giant step in serving the student populace by operating new courses for the higher education. Thus, in September of 2001, the Commission on Higher Education recommended favorable action for WOODRIDGE COLLEGE to operate collegiate courses. Through its innovative and creative programs, the college dedicates itself to the training of students to become professional leaders imbued with moral values and receptive to the changing demands of technology to be globally competitive to improve the quality of the future.
At present, Woodridge College exemplifies an academic community that fosters not only intellectual knowledge but also moral maturity of the human person. Now, on its 24th year of continuous adherence to the quest for excellence, it nurtures the young minds of the pupils/students with the hope that they establish a solid foundation for their intellectual pursuits for higher avenues of learning in college and later in the outside world.
