Thomas Lowry built the streetcar system in Minneapolis which created the beautiful and elegant neighborhoods we see today. Hennepin would be nothing if it weren't for the streetcars that brought it alive. This monument once stood at the split intersection of Lyndale and Hennepin before 94 ruined it.
