  Built in 1903, with the railway line Bucharest Obor-Pantelimon. Was built mainly to serve the food halls and factories in the Obor In 1904 is build railway line Ram.Baneasa- Herastrau- Bucharest Obor. In 1978, first electric locomotive arived in Bucharest Obor station, when railway line Bucharest Obor- Pantelimon is electrified and equipped with automatic block line. In years 1985-1987 railway line Bucharest Baneasa- Herastrau- Bucharest Obor is dismantled, so that Bucharest Obor remains end station.
