Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site

The Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site is a military training area belonging to Fort Carson. The site was purchased in 1983, and a 2007 proposal to increase the size of the site would make it the army's largest training ground in the United States.

  • Craig is correct, the main post of Ft Carson is in the triangle between I-25, CO-115, and US-59 southwest of COS. The Pinon Canyon Maneuver site is discontinuous with the main post, and correctly placed on this map.
