Former Green River, WY, Amtrak Station (Green River, WY)

Amtrak provided passenger train service to Green River on the Union Pacific Railroad line with the Pioneer. The train, which connected Denver and Seattle, was cancelled during May 1997.

Just to add to the info above, it traveled east and west inbetween Portland and Denver, but ran along the existing Coast Starlight Amtrak route inbetween Portland and Seattle(its final destination). It went through cities and towns such as The Dalles(OR), Pendleton, Boise, Pocatello, Ogden(UT), Salt Lake City, Cheyenne, and Greeley(CO).
