 arboretum  Add category

The Arboretum was the first public park in Nottingham, opened in 1852. It is still the closest park to the city centre, and therefore one of the most popular. It contains a variety of mature trees, several gardens and a pond. The Arboretum is Grade II listed on the Register of Historic Parks & Gardens maintained by English Heritage and contains a number of Grade II Listed structures within its layout, some of which were restored in 2002.
