The reserve covers an area of 356 hectares and the Rafflesia Information Centre is in the Tambunan District conveniently situated on the Kota Kinabalu / Tambunan main road at Km 58. The Centre acts as a gateway to the Virgin Forest behind and around it.

This reserve is adjacent to the Croker Range National Park. It is easily accessible by road and is one and a half hours’ drive from Kota Kinabalu town.
