The church of St George the Martyr at Queen Square was completed in 1731, and now serves as a community church in the Bloomsbury and Holborn areas. The church is quite simple and elegant in design, and has a beautiful grey stone tower. The church is also noted for its historic organ and many interior details. The church is known for its work with the poorer members of the Bloomsbury community, as well as trying to attract more young professionals and incoming refugees to attend events and services.
