C.P.I.M Chunkappally Branch Committee Office is named as Comrade Madathil Balakrishnan Memorial Building.Madathil Balakrishnan was a comrade who always worked for the goodwill of his society and organization.The land area where the buliding stands was sponserd by hon.late Sri.Edavalath Cheerakkolil Damodaran.The building was inagurated by the then hon.MP of Rajya Sabha,Sri A.Vijayaraghavan in the year 2000.This building is also the central-office of the C.Y.K.S (Chunkappally Yuvajana Kala Samithi) which is being assossiated with D.Y.F.I,Chunkapally.
