Great Glen Trails is a very good place to cross-country ski. While it doesn't have the trail miles of Bretton Woods or Jackson Ski Foundation, it is at higher elevation and consistently gets better snow in marginal weather conditions. The flat areas on the golf course and the close-by warming hut also make this a good place for beginners, or skiiers with school-age kids.
