Raja Babu was one of the best teacher I have met in my life. I agree with what is written about Raja Babu by the person who had tagged his house and written about him as shown below.

"Teaching maths was natural as breathing to him. He also learnt Homeopathy and helped countless villagers by giving medicines for as little as 6 paisa and even free, sometimes.

In his personal life he maintained the chores of the Sri Vaishnava traditions of worship and service in the temple of Radha Keshav. He was very affectionate and encouraging to the students without any discrimination.

Survived by two sons- Madhav Achari( Sindri)& Venkat Achari(Bero) and two daughters: Saroja(Raghunathpur) and Maithily (Ranchi."

Raja Babu had changed my life for ever. Because of him I had achieved more than what I ever expected to have in my life. In 1949, I came to study in Bero School as a student in Class Eight. I was really surprised when I got the highest marks in that class in the final exams. I was never such a good student before. That year, I was very good in all the subjects except maths. I continued to score highest marks every year. I loved to study Sanskrit and so in Class Ten I took Sanskrit as my special subject. Raja Babu called me to see him and he told me that I should take maths as my special subject. I told him the reason why I should not. He told me that he would make me the best student in maths. So I changed my special subject. When the classes began Raja Babu asked me to solve the maths problems in front of the class. I was very scared at first but followed his directions and sure enough, soon I became the best student in maths. I started to get 100 out of 100 marks. Because of it I had the highest marks in Manbhum district in the school final exams and got a scolarship. I stood third in Bihar University in I.SC. exams and first class first in B.Sc chemistry honours. I never looked back since and went to achieve a lot. Last year Raja Babu's son Madhav phoned me. He was visiting his son Gopal who is a professor in the University of Calgary. I felt proud to find out that Raja Babu's grandson had done so well.
