  The Information that Zatec Airforce Base was closed in 1990, is wrong ! I have visited the base in the year 1993 for first informal talks between German Airforce and the Czech Airforce after separation from Slovakia. At that time on base an air defence center was active as well as flying business with MIG 29 and other types.. J.Hohmann, Col,rtd, GAF
