Cat Steps. A trail leading all the way to the hilltop. (also persimmon tree 1) (Madison, Indiana )

Start of the 'Cat Steps'. The trail dates back to the pre-auto era of the very early 1900's or even 1800's. Not maintained but is
used enough that is stays fairly clear. Noted for the series of still usable concrete steps that you suddenly come upon in the
underbrush all the way to the top.
