USA / New Jersey / Hoboken / New York City, New York / Hanover Square, 10
 apartment building, Modern (architecture)

278-foot, 22-story International-style residential building completed in 1971 as an office building. Designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it has a tall ground floor divided into six wide bays on the Pearl and Water Street sides, and five bays on the other two elevations. The bays are articulated by concrete piers, and have glass and metal infill. Each of the piers has a light fixture or signage pole. The three center bays on Hanover Square have recessed glass walls with the main entrance, while the other bays contain storefronts. Above the base, each of the wide ground-floor bays is further divided into three narrower bays by thinner, projecting, uninterrupted concrete piers, with bronze-tinted windows and spandrels between each pier.

The building was renovated and converted to rental apartments in 2005 by Schuman, Lichtenstein, Claman & Efron. Amenities include a rooftop deck. The ground floor is occupied by Complete Body fitness center, Apple Bank for Savings, Starbucks coffee, The Original Soupman, and Lenny's Ultimate Sandwich.

  • This building used to be office space for Goldman Sachs but was converted to residential luxury apartments in 2005. There is still a large gym located in the basement used by GS employees that may also be used by residents.
