  Section 7 is basically divided into 2 separate development phases: 1. The "original" Section 7 - this area is basically a hill, being 'lined' and connected by the main Jalan Permata 7/1, although there's also Jalan 7/2 in it. Development in this area started since the early 1970s. 2. The additional or extended Section 7 is a 2nd phase development (started in the mid to late 1990s if I'm not mistaken), that borders from the back hill-side of the original Section 7 (west ward), fringed by Section 3, UiTM (Section 1), Padang Jawa area, Bukit Raja in Bandar Baru Klang, the NKVE and Section 8 Shah Alam.
