Liquefied Natural gas (LNG) is stored in storage tanks in the peak shaving installation in the inner port, in order to cope with peaks in gas consumption (during winter).

2 storage tanks for liquefied natural gas with a capacity of 57,250 m3 each, 1 storage tank for liquefied nitrogen with a capacity of 19,000 m3.

Two of the three storage tanks will be dismantled shortly.
