Research Institute of Electronic and Mechanical Devices (NIIEMP) was founded in January 1959.
NIIEMP is a basic research center of the Board of radioelectronic industry and systems of management of Federal agency for industry, producing resistors, resistor components, high frequency vacuum switching devices and vacuum capacitors. At present NIIEMP uses all basic technologies of resistor industry and is the only Russian enterprise for development and production of:
- precision hybrid integrated circuits metal foil and thin film with standardized value of TRC;
- resistor conductive and protective pastes for thick film technology;
- school and demonstrative equipment;
- diagnostic instrumentation for enterprises of fuel and power complex and special instrumentation for electronic components production
