Home to over 78,000 dead Peoria contributors, this historic cemetery opened in 1855 and ended up as one of the area's largest cemeteries.

From towering monuments to castle-like crypts, this cemetery has it all, and much of it dating back to the early 20th century. In recent years, the city has found new interest in maintaining and restoring this beautiful place, and it is bustling with joggers, bike riders and dog-walkers on a daily basis.

Truely one of the most tranquil locations in Illinois.
