silk mill (Vellore/வேலூர்/वेलूर)

This is an important landmark of Vellore called "silk mill stop" for the bus stop, where earlier a silk mill used to run. Now it is a part of a large residential area called Gandhinagar. All buses stop here, there is an autorikshaw stand, ICICI bank ATM and lots of eating joints.

Silk Mill was first VEC(VIT) boys hostel in Late 80's and early 90's
