Lieutenant General Best Barracks (formerly known as De Peel air force base) is a military (reserve) air base in the Netherlands used by the Royal Netherlands Army guided missile division. It has currently has one runway remaining, which is not in active use. In March 2012 it was decided as part of a reorganisation to transfer control of the base from the Royal Netherlands Air Force to the Royal Netherlands Army, resulting in a name change to Lieutenant General Best Barracks (Dutch: Luitenant-generaal Bestkazerne).
