gate, listed building / architectural heritage
Also known as 'Tianwang Hall'. Yonghe Gate is directly facing Zhaotai Gate, originally the hall was used as a parlour for visitors, it later changed to a welcoming room for the visitors according to the framework of the temple although the style is still very much in the Han style with yellow glazed tile. As with all the Hall of the Heavenly Kings in any Buddhist temple, there is usually a statue of a Maitreya Buddha.
