Skardu Airport (SKARDU The capital of Baltistan )

I have been to this air-port and its used for both army and civilian aircrafts, It’s a great site just to land in, surrounded with huge black mountains from all sides (it’s a scene from lord of the rings). The pilot had to maneuver quit a while to land. It’s the beginning point for all journeys heading to marvelous places (Lakes, Rivers, Mountain peeks, Waterfalls).This is some one how went there and made the effort (unlike me) to bring some live memory's along

Hey Bugs,

The centre office for government contractors is located here and the officials delay the payment so the contractors ( Pareshan haal logg ) have to spend much of their time here visiting the office here for thier dues ( offcourse Pareshani main ), hence it is known as what they call( Pareshan chowk ).

I hope your pareshani is over now.

But do keep in mind......Getting flight ticket is easy but getting it confirmed or ok is the very difficult.
