Supersonic Wind Tunnel (Ann Arbor, Michigan)

This is the University's largest supersonic wind tunnel, the tanks to the south are vacuum chambers, and are pumped down before a test. The dome to the north contains the air that will be sucked through the 2-inch-by-5-inch test section located in the building in the middle. The speeds in the tunnel can reach over Mach 2.
