Parteen is in County Clare rather than County Limerick. Limerick City Council have applied for a Boundary Extension to bring Parteen (among other surrounding areas) under the administration of the City but at the present time (Dec 2006) and probably for the future Parteen will remain within the Admistrative control and geographical bounds of County Clare. | ||||
