The Arch of Triumph was erected under mandate from the CCKWP and SPA in 1982. It is a 60 meters high and 50 meters wide stone edifice garnished in 10,500 pieces of white granite. It marks Kim IL-Sung's return to Korea with his partisans in 1945.
