  • Great beer selection -- unfortunately, I've never been happy with the service. The waitstaff is slow and inattentive. The food isn't that great either. I ordered a slice of cheesecake here once and it came with a large spot of mold on it.
  • The Brickskeller used to be fantastic. The food was never that great, but the beer and atmosphere were what kept people coming. Unfortunately it went downhill. The place got dingy (how hard is it to replace carpet on occaission?) and the staff seemed to care less and less. They had 1600 beers! Of course it may take me a moment to choose one and I may have a question or two. But the last time I went the staff seemed annoyed if I asked anything or if I haddn't picked my beer out yet whenever they happened to come back to the table. Also, yeah, the beer list was huge and great - when they had what you wanted. It seemed many times they were out of a lot of beers on the list and most of the time it was somewhat warm.
