  Also known as "Ghanta Ghar". If you are lost and want to get your bearings just get on a rickshaw and ask to be taken to Ghanta Ghar as everyone knows this central "meeting point" in the centre of town. I think there is also a Police check point / station on the corner. The clock tower itself could do with a little bit of TLC as it's looking a bit negleted. The last time i went and caught an Autorickshaw from DAV College it cost 20Rp (25P) for the two of us.

  Also, this area surrounding Ghanta Ghar is known as Kotwali Bazaar and is a main commerical/shopping area. And, a lot of mobile phone shops and banks have been coming up here.
