Dean Road Elementary School (Auburn, AL)

Dean Road Elementary School is located in Auburn, Alabama. One of five elementary schools in the Auburn City School system, Dean Road houses grades 1-5.

On April 30, 1957, Lee County Schools contracted for Dean Road Elementary School to be built at a cost of just under $100,000. The Auburn City School System was formed in 1962, and the school changed from being in the Lee County School System to the Auburn City School System. At the time of occupancy in September 1957, the design consisted of three buildings with four classrooms in each housing grades 1-6. Additions were made to the school in 1976, 1983, 1986, 1988 and 2007.
