Serranos, a Mexican restaurant, closed after 15 years in early 2014 and was the last Serranos restaurant that closed (the owner decided to focus on other ventures). It reopened as Barcadia, a bar/restaurant/arcade concept in mid to late 2014 after a similar concept in New Orleans. An article that talked about Serranos passing mentioned that Barcadia would continue the tradition of live events Serranos had.
