High Rock Lake Vacation and Resort Properties
High Rock Lake is formed by High Rock Dam on the Yadkin River in Davidson/Rowan County, North Carolina and is used for hydroelectric power, recreation and drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1927. At normal levels it has a surface area of 24 square miles. It is property of Yadkin Inc.


High Rock Lake is the northermost of the Uwharrie Lakes and the second largest lake in North Carolina. High Rock is known as a site for bass tournaments, and it has been called the "Crankbait Capital of the World".
