Clanmorris Gardens is a residential street on the north side of the Shannon River in Limerick City. Development began around 1962 as an addition to the established Clanmorris Avenue cul-de-sac to the west. The double ninety degree turns between the original Clanmorris Avenue and new Clanmorris Gardens created a natural border to the west. To the east of the street a large, street-wide by seven foot wall divided Clanmorris Gardens from the larger Strandville Gardens heighbourhood block. A Pedestrian opening allowed foot traffic between these areas.

The street has only seven houses, all on the north side of the street. By 1964 these houses were all sold to young families. The original families were, McMahon, McInerney, Corcoran, Roache, Considine, Collins and Gagan.

The "White Wall" was used by neighbourhood kids as a soccer goal. It was eventually removed around the start of the eighties after repeated pounding by soccer balls began to loosen bricks. A run away horse pulling a flat-bed cart and driver nagivated the pedestrian opening. The horse got through cleanly but the cart smashed into the wall taking a large section of the wall away. It was replaced by seven evenly spaced stone bollards.

Clanmorris Gardens still houses three of the original families and remains a quiet neighbourly street overlooking the city to the south.
