This modern business park is based on a WW2 airfield - RAF Kinston Bagpiuze. Open 1942 - 1954. Multiple uses, including glider training and 9th USAF. Aerial photo shows old grass runways and Control Tower still largely intact. Curved road is modern - not an old perimeter track.

Many of the businesses are housed in old military buildings. This is one of many airfields in this flat countryside e.g. Standlake, Stanton Harcourt, Grove, Harwell, Culham, Abingdon, Berinsfield.
