Across the lake on the other side is the large swimming pool where many families and friends used to meet for a day out. Along with the picnic lunch, the real favourite was the ice-cream which was made in a churn and everyone took turns on the handle. There was real panic stations one time when a crocodile climbed over from the lake and got into the swimming pool. |
