This is the Eagle River Satellite gateway earth ststion where I work. We are the main hub for satellite communications to 244 small earth stations scattered throughout the state. Besides the 2 15 meter antennas, there are two smaller antennas used for special services, such as video uplinks. The station was built in 1976 while Alascom was still part of RCA Communications.
