The state-of-the-art design of the new hospital, a 362,376-square-foot 136-bed facility with nine floors, will improve patient access and wayfinding; provide flexibility for changing clinical, technology and community needs; increase operational efficiencies; and accommodate future growth. The construction team consists of KLMK Group, LLC, a national leader in providing comprehensive healthcare facility solutions; BE&K, a national company providing engineering, building and maintenance services; and Perkins+Will, a global commercial architectural design firm. Phase I of the campus development includes the hospital and a medical office building that will house physician practices as well as hospital support services such as human resources, cardiac rehabilitation and education. Plans call for approximately 1,000 parking spaces to accommodate patients, visitors and staff.
