This well traveled road takes motorists up a steep incline, from the shrine area of Nikko toward Chouenzi Lake. The road (local route 120) splits into single direction segments, with the lake bound traffic traveling on the Southern spur, and the Nikko bound traffic traveling on the Northern spur.
