  • The Ioannina lake's island (Pamvotis lake) is commonly called Nisaki. There are 500 inhabitants living on the island's village. This village is the main tourist attraction of Ioannina, the visitor can walk through the scenic alleys of the village and visit the Ali Pasha museum and the 2 monasteries. There is frequent boat connections, every 20min in the summer and every 30min in the winter, between Ioannina and the island. Ticket costs 1.5 Euros one way.
