Yellowstone National Park
About 2.1 million years ago, a truly enormous caldera (volcanic collapse depression) was formed, spanning at least 80 km from just west of the present Henry's Fork Caldera (1.3 million years old) to what is now the east side of Yellowstone Caldera (640,000 years ago). The Huckleberry Ridge Tuff deposits can be found as far as 100 km away from their vents.
