River Ken's Oxbow Lake

The surface structure Oxbow Lake is one of the best river formed structure, which is caused due to the meandering of river generally in old or mature stage of river. In this form the river changes her channel by leaving an arch type silt deposit, which reflects the previous path of river (Palaeo-channel).
