Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University, formerly the Medical University of Southern Africa (MEDUNSA), the largest Medical University Campus in Southern Africa, now a part of the University of Limpopo. Currently the University is in a process of demerging with the University of Limpopo and it will assume its former name.

  • Dr Molefi Sefularo has been very much what Medunsa was all about, a very patient intelligent man who contributed tremendously towards the liberation struggles of the past, to prepare black youths for the South Africa's independence from apartheid and itsevl structures. South Africa could not have had an indvidual of his calibre. Rather than change the name of the University, It would befit his conrtibution to have a bulding within the university campus named after him like the library building. Dr Sefularo was always having a book in his hand reading, whether he is in the canten, taxi travelling to town or localy,he always encouraged the youth of the country to have education. An exceptionally committed individual to the struggle. Medunsa, though said to be part of Limpopo, need to maintain its former name of MEDUNSA and Dr Sefularo is part of that name and what made that University to what it is known to be world wide, A CENTRE OF GOOD STANDARDS, THAT HAS PRODUCED MEDICAL DOCTORS THAT ARE RESPECTED FOR THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE IN THE WORLD BIGGEST STAGES.

  • Good day – THE MANAGING GROUP Herewith my concern as parent for all the normal students who wants to continue with classes. We think that you as managing group of the University of Limpopo and Medunsa Campus – is handling the situation very badly and should have called in the police force long ago. Be sure that thousands of good students if they can’t finish their study’s and exams this year would demand a refund even in court for this year. I really think your handling of this situation is very week an inefficient. Regards
