Museum ship Vityaz was build in Germany 1939 as refrigerator ship "Mars". After the war it became first British "Empire Forth" (for a short time) and then Soviet "Ekvator". In 1949 it was converted into science ship "Vityaz". It served until 1979. Now it is museum.
