Originally built as First National Studios in 1926, it was responsible for distributing many of Charles Chaplin's features. Later known as Kinney International and (in joint venture with Columbia) as the Burbank Studios. Eventually Warner purchased Columbia's stake, along with the Columbia Ranch up the street, now known as Warner Ranch.
