Meadowmere is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Queens. It is by far the most remote and isolated area of the city, geographically closer to being a part of Nassau County. In fact, the Meadowmere Park neighborhood (a part of the Town of Hempstead hamlet of Woodmere) is located entirely west of Meadowmere, accessible only by a bridge over the Head of Bay inlet. The area is served by the 11422 postal code - which also covers the Queens neighborhood of Rosedale and parts of Kennedy Airport.
